Yes! we accept NDIS clients.

You do not require a GP referral. Neurospa Psychology accepts Private clients. However, Medicare rebates will not be available to redeem if you do not have a Mental Health Care Plan from your GP. Your private health insurance might offer a rebate. Please check your eligibility.
Your GP provides you with the Mental Health Care plan. It is a plan for individuals experiencing mental health conditions. The Mental Health Care Plan gives you access to a Medicare rebate of $89.65. We are not a bulk-billing practice and there is a gap for each session to be covered. Medicare rebate is eligible for up to 20 sessions per calendar year.

Yes, we currently provide assessments for Intelligence Functioning (IQ), Psycho-Educational needs, and Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). These assessments are available for both children and adults.

Appointments are 50 minutes in duration.

Cost of Psychology session is $250 for the duration of 50 minutes. If you have a Mental Health Care Plan you can claim a Medicare rebate of $89.65. Cost of a Psychology session is $230 for the duration of 50 minutes for Health Care Card Holders.
If you’re new to therapy, we will explain how the process works in an easy step by step format. In the first session, you will be asked about what’s brought you to therapy and what goals you are hoping to achieve. We also ask general questions to give us a good understanding of who you are, your current life circumstances and life challenges. You will also have a chance to ask us any questions.
