Medicare: A referral from your General Practitioner or a specialist may qualify you for a Medicare rebate. Where Medicare applies to a standard psychology session, the current rebate is $98.97. We recommend speaking with your GP prior to booking to discuss your eligibility.

Do I need a GP referral to book?
No. You can book as a private client without a referral. A GP referral or Mental Health Care Plan may make you eligible for a Medicare rebate. Check with your GP or ask us when you call.
How long does each assessment take?
It depends on the assessment type. A psychoeducational assessment includes a 1-hour parent interview and a 2-hour testing session. An IQ assessment includes a 30-minute interview and a 1.5 to 2-hour testing session. An ADHD assessment runs approximately 2 hours for the combined interview and assessment session.
Are assessments available for adults?
Yes. Adult ADHD and autism assessments are among our most common referrals. Monika has assessed adults across all age groups. You can book without a prior diagnosis or referral.
Can the report be used for NDIS or school support applications?
Yes. A formal diagnostic report from a registered psychologist is required for NDIS access requests involving autism or intellectual disability. For school support, the report can be submitted to your child’s school or the SACE board. We write every report with these uses in mind.
